Our Mission Statement calls us to foster justice, compassion, hope and hospitality in the mercy tradition. We commit ourselves to the provision of a supportive environment where each student is encouraged to develop a love of God, of life, of others and of learning
Our focus is very much upon the holistic development of the human person. We believe that every person possesses a unique dignity and as such is entitled to be treated with respect and given every opportunity to grow to be the person she/he is called to be.
Catherine McAuley, the Irish woman who founded the Sisters of Mercy in 1831, was filled with the gospel spirit of Compassion and Hospitality. She accepted that each person is created in the image and likeness of God and as such should always be welcomed into our presence. This compassion for others gave her a strong sense of social justice.
We are inspired to follow in her footsteps in the way we care for all members of our community, for those who visit us and for those in need.
